The Town of Milton, Vermont has a great opportunity for a full-time (40-hour per week) Administrative Assistant to join our Police Department. This is a highly responsible, administrative, personnel, and secretarial job of a complex and confidential nature. Work entails varied administrative tasks associated with office management, including considerable contact and interaction with other staff members, administrators, and visitors. The Administrative Assistant reports to the Chief of Police or his designee.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of experience working in an office setting. Applicants will undergo an extensive background investigation including criminal and driver’s license record checks.

Working hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Additional hours are a possibility. Hourly wage ranges from $13.55 to $17.42.
